XR Galaxy is an XR platform built to introduce, explore, and engage with immersive experiences in the Galaxy ecosystem.Design Approach
I worked as a Product Designer on Galaxy XR, collaborating directly with teams in Korea and other countries. I focused on adapting Samsung’s system apps ecosystem to extended reality, conducting research, user testing, and prototyping across applications such as Calendar, Clock, and SmartThings.The project also included collaboration with Google on early studies to integrate Gemini into XR experiences.
Outcome
- Validation of usage models for system apps in XR.
- Development of PoCs for Calendar, Clock, and SmartThings.
- Contributions to early AI studies in XR.
